Brian O'Meara phyloseminar

I just realized today that I somehow missed Brian O'Meara's phyloseminar - and not just barely, but by 3 weeks! On March 30th, Brian spoke about applying the methods of ABC (Approximate Bayesian Computation) to phylogenetic comparative biology. This is a really neat new area in our field and Brian is sure to put out some interesting publication on this over the next few years.

Luckily, it is still possibly to watch the recording of Brian's seminar which is available (presumably in perpetuity) here. Today during lunch I had time to watch only the first 1/2 of this recording, but I plan to watch the rest of it soon.

    Don't worry about missing it; I knew it about weeks before it happened but still haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet. I only got time to watch Luke's a week ago...

    I kinda wish they were in offline file formats; I don't know why, but EVO eats up all my system resources on Windows 7.
